A family civil business, built for tier 1 work.
PACC is a family owned civil specialist delivering the work that keeps Victoria's major infrastructure programs moving.
After twenty years in this industry I can tell within minutes whether someone's going to fit at PACC. Get that right, and everything else takes care of itself.
James Magner, Director
James runs PACC's pricing, client relationships and operations across every active project. He learned the work from the ground up, every role on a civil site in order, and he is still on site regularly and still picks the people personally.
Our people pick PACC over bigger contractors because of how we treat them. Every operator, supervisor and pipelayer is certified, ticketed and current, tracked on a live register. We hire for fit before skill, because skill can be taught and culture can't.
Three decades, one way of doing things.
- 1995
It started in Melbourne's south east.
The family civil business was founded on commercial and private work. Three or four pieces of plant, ten or twelve people, and a clear standard.
- 2005
Into major infrastructure.
A deliberate move onto Victoria's tier 1 programs. James joined the same year and learned every role on site, from star pickets to pipelaying.
- 2014
A new director, a new name.
James took over as Director after two seasons with the Melbourne Football Club. The business was restructured and rebranded as PACC.
- Today
Six major projects at once.
A well maintained fleet, packages from $200k to $4M, and a Victorian track record now taking on work interstate.
Four values, three decades.
Responsibility for every outcome.
We own what happens on our projects, regardless of fault. Problems get solved, not passed on.
Do it right the first time.
Pipework, plant maintenance, crew safety and how we treat people. No matter how small the job.
Everyone is equal.
Nobody is too senior to clean down, and nobody is too junior to be heard.
Family before work.
